Dylan(ticipation)
On Friday we welcome Academy award winning filmmaker Murray Lerner to our theatre where he’ll present his latest film The Other Side of the Mirror, a documentary about Bob Dylan at the New Port Folk Festival.
I came across an interesting interview with Lerner in the Nashville Scene, conducted by Jim Ridley, whose byline you might recognize from the Seattle Weekly.
The film features performances by Dylan over of his appearances at the festival and concentrates solely on Dylan’s live performances, after Academy Award-winning director Murray Lerner decided “no narration, no pundit interviews, no interviews with Dylan.”
