As our next calendar approaches quickly, I’ll tip the hat to one title coming up. The calendar kicks off on Feb 29 with Woody Allen’s HANNAH AND HER SISTERS, presented like other recent Allen titles at NWFF in a new 35mm print. Most Woody Allen fans know of Allen’s fetishistic love white Windsor font on a black background (see above). Today I stumbled across Kit Blog’s discussion of the font. He’s the only filmmaker I’m aware of, who has so wholly embraced a single font and made it a part of his auteurist stamp. Are there other’s whose font fetish I’m missing? Please let me know.
