Humpday is scoring big at Sundance!

Here’s a sampling of articles and blogs about Lynn Shelton’s premiere screening of Humpday at Sundance this weekend:

…possesses a comic structure as rigorous as any “I Love Lucy” episode.

…four buyers “actively engaged” in talks for Lynn Shelton’s “Humpday,” with a former offer coming this morning as negotiations begin.

Humpday was the best of the three movies I screened today at the Eccles.

NY Times

…it is the first film of the festival to break through and connect.

Shelton assembles a ceaselessly entertaining dissection of heterosexual confusion.

Lot’s of laughs and even a few uncomfortable moments marked the world premiere of Lynn Shelton’s high concept indie.

Film Threat

Someone has let writer-director Lynn Shelton behind the dude curtain.

If there were a prize for most outrageous premise at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, Lynn Shelton’s “Humpday” would be ahead of the pack.

If the opposite of a chick flick would be a dick flick, then I suppose that’s what Humpday would be — a funny, strong, sympathetic dick flick that will bury itself deep within your most intimate areas until it’s won over your heart, your soul and your wicked sense of humor.
