Children’s Film Festival Seattle winners


It’s a wrap! Children’s Film Festival Seattle has finished an amazing
10-day run, with Northwest Film Forum playing host to sold-out
screenings of more than 100 films from 30 countries, celebrating the
best in global cinema for young audiences.

The nine-member festival children’s jury has selected the following
films as prizewinners:

Best Animated Film
ALMA, directed by Rodrigo Blaas (Spain)

Best Feature Film
THE CROCODILES, directed by Christian Ditter (Germany)

Global Zoom Prize: For the film that best promotes intercultural
BREAKOUT: THE POWER OF ONE, directed by Lalita Krishna (Canada)

Northwest Prize: For a film by a filmmaker who lives in the Pacific
MR. MACK’S KITCHEN, directed by Mike Attie (Seattle)

Audience Favorite, chosen by audience votes
THE MOUSE THAT SOARD, directed by Kyle Bell (Portland, Oregon)

Northwest filmmakers who won prizes!
